Team Tantalus takes home 3 golds at The Bill Landry Memorial Loonar Enduro 6 Hour Race!! 10/30/2007

For the first time in memory the Sky was blue for the start of the Bill Landry Memorial Loonar Enduro. Over 50 teams of 2 and a handful of hard core soloists came out to see how many laps of the dump trails they could complete over a 6 hour period.

Team T arrived in force, Taking home victories in the Solo male, Mixed team and Womans team events.

In the Solo male category Tantalus Pro rider Greg Grant from Whistler B.C. took home 1st place aboard his Giant Anthem . Greg put his years of racing experience to good use and rode a steady, well paced race and was very happy with the result.

In the Womans team of 2 category Tantalus riders Lorraine Ross and Kim Stegaman battled thru the muck and roots to a strong victory. A special note with these two is the fact that not only did they win their category, but they did so dressed up in their Halloween costumes!!

In the Mixed Male/Female category 2 more of Team Tantalus Pro squad Ryan Edwards and Meghan Kindree whipped around the course on their Sram powered Rocky Mountains a dizzying 18 times, securing them top spot on the podium and a years worth of bragging rights!

The post race feast was legendary, and the fire was eye brow scorching!

A huge thank you to every body who helped organize the event. A special shout out to Ian Lowe, Dwayne Kress and Ron Goldstone who braved the cold to stand in one spot and make sure that everybody's laps were properly recorded.

Keep the rubber side down, or up, or whatever your fancy is. Just be sure to keep your momentum up!
