Ryan Edwards of Team Tantalus had the honor this past summer of being one of the few in North America to test the next generation of the Rock Shox SID cross country race fork. Ryan also had the honor of being featured in a promotional video made by SRAM/Rock Shox showcasing the new fork. It is almost like the fork knows what I'm going to do before I do it. Much more precise steering than any other cross country fork I have ever ridden, and the larger air volume of the new fork allowed lower air pressure to be run, allowing the fork to be more progressive, inspiring confidence on descents and unparalleled efficiency on the climbs. The amazing light weight of the fork could also be felt, not only on the climbs but also when quick movements of the front end were needed on decents. All in all the new SID blew my socks off, and I would recomend it to anybody looking to treat themselves to an amazing fork, whether you're a weekend warrior or a World Cup racer"
